CPR/First Aid: expires 2/2023
In order to comply with certification for CPR/First Aid through the American Heart Association, should your child choke on any item which causes them to need assistance getting the item out, after assisting in getting the item out, I am required to call 911 as a follow up.
If 911 is not called, then I can be held liable if anything happens with the child’s throat following choking and a doctor does not examine that child.
You, as guardian, will be responsible for any cost incurred from the ambulance call for your child.
Any future staff/volunteer at Country Fun Child Care will be CPR/First Aid trained, or will not be providing unsupervised direct care.
